Reality TV shows, tabloid magazines, Top 40 radio, Barry Manilow? Just don’t ask Dave Grohl what his guilty pleasure is. Why? He doesn’t believe in them.

“If you f*cking like something, like it. That’s what’s wrong with our generation: that residual punk rock guilt, like, ‘You’re not supposed to like that. That’s not f*cking cool.’ Don’t f*cking think it’s not cool to like Britney Spears’ ‘Toxic.’ It is cool to like Britney Spears’ ‘Toxic!’ Why the f*ck not?” —via Wil Wheaton Tumblr

He really doesn’t believe in them, as he emphasized in his SXSW keynote speech last year. And you’ll never guess what other song he likes.

"F*ck guilty pleasure!'" he said. "What about just pleasure? I can honestly say that 'Gangnam Style' is one of my favorite songs of the last 10 years." —via RollingStone.com

So the lesson here is . . . Dave Grohl won’t judge you for liking the Spice Girls, because he does, too.

“2 Become 1” by The Spice Girls. I couldn't get this song out of my head. It's not even a dance song — it's this slow-jam pop-ballad sh*t. Lord, I just love it and I don't know what to do. Do you think I need a shrink?" — via UltimateGuitar.com
