Take Your Teddy Bear to Work Day

I won't lie - I still have a Teddy Bear. Actually . . .  if we're going to be honest, here, I have two teddy bears. My first bear was actually given to my mother at her baby shower. It's a pink little bear that, when stretched out, plays "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star." So it's been hanging around since the late ‘80s - and it still works! But I have it at my parents' house for safe keeping. The second bear, I got up north ("Nort'," if you're looking to say it in our regional diction) in Minnesota while on vacation with my parents and their friends. I spotted this cute black bear in a gift shop and had to have him. I gave it to my boyfriend at the time (because I guess I thought that was a cool girlfriend thing to do??) who I later took it back from because he was kind of (absolutely) a jerk. Thankfully, the bear has no sentimental tie to him whatsoever so I've kept him around! He's too darn cute to get rid of anyway, so for now, he hangs out in my closet with my extra blankets. And since today is Bring Your Teddy Bear to Work Day, I brought him into work with me. See:
