Stuff We Like: New Children's Book By Colin Meloy of The Decemberists
Appreciating the value of music while recognizing the necessity of a child's sense of wonder and innocence is an art - and we love nothing more than when these two worlds overlap. Needless to say we were thrilled when we heard of the collaboration between Colin Meloy of The Decemberists and his wife Carson Ellis for an upcoming children's book, The Unfortunate Demise of Whitley Rackham, which is "set in 1920s Butte, Montana and features a talking cat."
According to Ellis's blog, "It's been in the works for years but it's completion seems to be on the horizon." We'll definitely be keeping our eyes on the horizon for this one.
