Love Monster Cookies
Here’s how we give an old classic a new look . . . the look of love. Pre-heat oven to 350 degree F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or baking spray.
Ingredients
1 cup sugar 1 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed) 3 eggs 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp vanilla 1 stick softened butter 1. Tbsp of chia seeds 1 Tbsp of maple syrup 1/2 cup chocolate chips 1/2 cup colored chocolate candies 1/2 cup raisins (optional) 2 tsp baking sode 1 12 oz jar of peanut butter 4 1/2 cups of quick oats Directions In a large bowl, mix together both sugars and eggs until well combined. Add salt, vanilla, maple syrup, peanut butter and butter. Mix well. Add chocolate candies, chips, raisins, baking soda and oatmeal. Add chia seeds until well incorporated.Drop tablespoon-sized globs onto cooking sheet, about 2 inches apart. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Do not overbake. Let sit for 3 -5 minutes to set.
